About Bigger

Bigger is a number comparison game. Two numbers appear side by side and you tap the one with the larger value.

Then the print starts lying: the smaller number is drawn bigger. Later you get decimals like 0.8 against 0.78, where more digits does not mean more value, and some rounds flip the rule to tap the smaller one.

Tips for a higher score

  • Read the value, ignore the font size.
  • With decimals, line up the digits after the point before comparing.
  • Glance at the rule on every card. It can ask for the smaller number.

Bigger: questions

How do you play Bigger?

Two numbers appear side by side. Tap the one with the larger value, not the bigger print.

Is Bigger free to play?

Yes. Play Bigger free in your browser, with no sign-up and no download. It is also in the free Sharpday app for Android.

Why does Bigger print the numbers in different sizes?

To trick you. Your eye goes to the bigger print, so when the smaller value is drawn larger you have to override that pull. It is the number version of the Stroop effect.
